Accidents will happen

Some accidents are bad - like the time my dad gave me my first driving lesson, got a little over ambitious and had me reversing round a corner, only for me to come out of said corner, forget which pedal was which and thus accelerate into some kind of electricity substation, rather than hit the brake pedal when my dad yelled 'Stop!'.

Some accidents are 'happy accidents'. Like this one - a tulip combination of 'Queen of Night' (survivors from a previous tulip combination), 'Hakuun' and 'Bleu Aimable' (both planted this year). The 'Bleu Aimable' provides a mid-tone between the white of 'Hakuun' and the almost black of 'Queen of Night',. More 'Bleu Aimable' will flower during the course of the next week, so it will get better and better!
